Sugar bagasse is a great material to use for hot goods. Not only is it heat resistant, it is also microwave and freezer proof, and can withstand hot oils up to 150oC. Even greasy foods like curries will not leak through and leave a mess.

Made from an agricultural waste product of the sugar cane industry, sugar bagasse is an entirely renewable source, with a low carbon footprint. It is 100% biodegradable, and can be disposed of either in a commercial composting facility, your green waste, or your own domestic compost heap.

Great for hot liquids, such as soup. A lid is not available at this time.
