Sugar bagasse is a great material to use for hot goods. Not only is it heat resistant, it is also microwave and freezer proof, and can withstand hot oils up to 150°C. Even greasy foods like curries will not leak through and leave a mess.

Made from an agricultural waste product of the sugar cane industry, sugar bagasse is an entirely renewable source, with a low carbon footprint. It is 100% biodegradable, and can be disposed of either in a commercial composting facility, your green waste, or your own domestic compost heap.
