Single-use plastic cutlery faces ban in England.

Single-use plastic cutlery faces ban in England.

There have been talks for sometime about a ban in place for plastic single-use cutlery.

We have seen a decreased demand the last few years for plastic cutlery and tableware, so much so that we discontinued our plastic plates and bowls a while back now.

Whilst we are still selling the plastic cutlery we will not be replenishing once the items have been sold.

In the last few years we have seen a huge uptick in demand for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly products and we have a great range of wooden cutlery as well as environmentally friendly tableware

Our wooden cutlery are all FSC certified,

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. Since its foundation in 1994, FSC has grown to become the world’s most respected and widespread forest certification system.

FSC's pioneering certification system, which now covers more than 200 million hectares of forest, enables businesses and consumers to choose wood, paper and other forest products made with materials that support responsible forestry.
